“ Update included…Excellent food! Their portion are big and the food is very fresh! My favorite place for Mexican food.UPDATE: there is a new lady at the front and she is rude and very unhappy. This is so sad for me because I love the food. I gave her a five dollar tip and she didn’t even smile. I hope the owner sees this because she’s going to run off your customers. I don’t go as often because of her. ”

“ The shrimp cocktail was tasty, just had to add some lime, ketchup, and onion/cilantro to give it that extra taste I like. My mom loved it as is. The chips were also very good, they had a light seasoning to them which paired well with the shrimp cocktail and the salsa from the salsa bar. Horchata was delicious and the perfect amount of sweet. The service was great, the lady at the front was very nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean and there is plenty of seating. I will definitely be back, now I want to try the grande burrito and the carne asada after seeing some other reviews! ”

“ Really good food at great prices. Everything that we have tried is great. The people are welcoming and always make you feel at home. One of the few Mexican food places in San Diego with very good salsas. All of them are delicious and actually hot for once. The menudo does not have homeny, just how I like it. The rolled tacos are fantastic!! Do yourself a favor, try them with out yellow cheese! ”
